Mark Turnbull worked with Credit Management Solutions between 2005 and 2011 as a Senior IT Manager and was responsible for its transformation to an advanced, secure network which supported diverse Call Centre and Back Office systems to include MS SQL, Access & JBase Database Applications. Dialler Systems and intensive Data Transformation routines.

In addition to the implementation, maintenance and management of key systems Mark also developed a number of applications to significantly improve the productivity and profitability of the IT Team and wider operation:

Mark designed & developed www.payclarity.com a PCI DSS Compliant Web Based Application that allows debtors to set up arrangements (direct debit, credit card etc), offer settlements, make promises to pay and communicate important information to Clarity.

Whilst PayClarity is a core system responsible for significant returns it is so reliable there have been no support / bug fix requirements since launch in 2008.

Mark developed the credit / debit card processors for the internal XML Web Service interface to the collections system and www.payclarity.com. Both utilise SagePay as the Payment Gateway and utilise the SagePay Direct protocol.

Dialler Campaign Creation

An MS Access / VBA system that manipulates a CUBS Dialler Text File and outputs multiple dialler campaigns based on user defined parameters such as score, desk, client etc. This system offers significant benefits to the Collections Team by identifying key segments of debt for targeted dialler activity.

Mark’s decision to create this system greatly enhanced the dialler functionality Clarity could offer to clients.

An MS Access / VBA system that allows files of any format ie Excel, CSV, Tab Delimited to be transformed based on an intelligent template for import into the Clarity Collection System.

This system revolutionised the data transfer processes at Clarity by removing the need for manual manipulation of client data thus reducing the potential for error and substantially increasing the number of files processed per day by the data team.

An MS Access / VBA utility that allowed Clarity to meet the technical requirements specified by Credit Account Management to process their clients’ accounts.

MI Fulfilment System

An asp.net web application that allowed users to request MI / Reports, track the request and view the completed request online; the application acted as a workflow system to the MI Team highlighting when a report was due, the “owner” and the completion date.

There was previously a reliance on individuals to manage, prioritise and deliver MI independently of each other so the new MIMI system allowed for a more team based, focussed approach.

Mark developed a web application to connect to a PayOffline Web Service to obtain a barcode for use on Clarity correspondence. The barcode allows debtors to make payments at Post Office and PayZone outlets. The service was attractive to customers who preferred to pay in cash locally and was very popular with Clarity debtors.
